I want to apply for a Japan tourist visa, what are the requirements?
- International passport (Must be valid for at least 6months from proposed travel date)
- 45mm long x 35mm width white background passport photograph
- 6 months bank statement (along with reference letter from the bank, issued within 1 month)
- If visa applicant’s employer pays for all the travel expenses, employer’s bank statement is required.
- If visa applicant pays for all the travel expenses, visa applicant’s bank statement is required.
- Work Details:
- If employed: Employment letter, introduction letter, company id card
- If Self-employed: a copy of form of registration of a business name (e.g. CAC), memorandum and articles of association, self-introduction letter, tax certificate, and annual return.
- Both original and photocopies are required.
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Children birth certificate (If accompanying)
- In case of student, an introduction letter from school is required

Visa Fee (NGN27,300-single entry) visa fee is paid upon visa issuance
Processing fee per Adult: NGN169,400
Processing fee per Child: NGN84,700

- Visa Application fee is the fee you pay to the embassy for applying for a visa
